AFFILIATE COUNCIL - Coordinates activities of Affiliate members (DMCAR After Dark, etc.), and serves as liaison to support DMCAR activities.

AUDIT & FINANCE - Prepares the annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors. Reviews monthly financial statement and unbudgeted expense requests.

CARHOF - Colorado Association of REALTORS®' Housing Opportunity Foundation (CARHOF) solicits, reviews, and recommends grants from DMCAR'S CARHOF funds to the CARHOF Trustees. Presents funds to recipients.

DIRECTOR NOMINATING - Selects slate of candidates for the annual election to the Board of Directors.

EDUCATION - Conducts monthly commercial real estate education seminars to benefit DMCAR members. Oversees the DMCAR Commercial Education Certificate (CEC) program, which is a series of accredited courses culminating in a certificate of achievement.

ELECTION - Oversees the election process and counting of ballots for the annual Director election.

EXPO - Plans and conducts the annual Rocky Mountain Commercial Real Estate Expo and Fall Forecast, including exhibitor hall and education sessions. Works in conjunction with co-sponsors and the University of Denver.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS - Committee to research and report on issues of importance to DMCAR and its members. Recommends DMCAR positions on issues for approval by the Board of Directors. Meets monthly to monitor issues affecting real estate and private property ownership. Sponsors annual City Council luncheon and State Legislative luncheon. Coordinates Candidate Interview Team comprised of members of the Governmental Affairs Steering Committee to conduct candidate interviews, when appropriate, for Denver City Council and other elected positions.

GRIEVANCE - Requires training.  Serves as investigatory body in a grand jury capacity for ethics complaints and requests for arbitration. Determines if cases should be referred to hearing or dismissed.

HEAVY HITTERS' COMMERCIAL AWARDS - Plans and conducts the annual production awards event, including planning the ceremony, reviewing applications, etc. Raises funds to cover expenses incurred and meets a net income figure as determined by the Budget & Finance Committee.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS - Requires training.  Committee from which hearing panels are selected for ethics and arbitration cases. Panelists conduct hearings and determine findings in matters of business disputes and ethics violations.

PSF - The Political Survival Fund (PSF) Committee is responsible for an annual fundraising event, normally held in the Spring, for the purpose of collecting monies for political candidates and issues.
