Full Charge Bookkeeper

An established, family-owned commercial real estate firm (near I-25 & 6th Avenue) is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to assist in accounting functions for:

  • 19 commercial properties
  • 6 residential dwellings
  • 240+ Total Units/Tenants
  • Over 525,000 total sq footage under management

Duties included but not limited to

Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper will include:

  • Managing full cycle of accounting activities for the company
  • Processing and overseeing daily functions of the A/P and A/R
  • Maintain accuracy of the general ledger
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Reconciliation and account research
  • Analyze financial information
  • Ensure compliance
  • Assist in financial audits and preparation of income tax return worksheets for CPA
  • Assist in completion end of month close procedures
Position Requirements

Qualifications of the Full Charge Bookkeeper are:

  • Minimum of 3+ years Accounting work experience is essential
  • Associates degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with real estate accounting software such as Yardi or AppFolio
  • Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements
  • Experience in property management a plus
