DMCAR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PROGRAM
The Young Professionals Program is an eight-month development experience designed to support the next generation of leaders in the industry. This program is tailored for emerging professionals who:
- Represent any sector of commercial real estate who are 35 or younger
- 2 to 5 years in the industry
- Eager to deepen their industry knowledge, expand their network and gain exposure to established leaders

WHY JOIN?
The Young Professionals Program is designed to:
- Build industry understanding – Participants will gain a better understanding of the full picture of commercial real estate, from different roles and sectors to market dynamics and trends. This knowledge and exposure will give participants a competitive advantage in their business.
- Strengthen peer networks – Create a supportive community of early-career professionals who can grow together and support each other over time.
- Connect emerging talent with industry leaders – Provide direct access to seasoned professionals who can share their expertise, lessons learned and practical career advice.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Participants will join a cohort of up to 15 young professionals for a curated series of learning and networking experiences,
including:
Monthly group sessions (8 total)
- Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., happy hour to follow 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
- Format: Peer networking, expert content, panel discussions, and interactive Q&A
- Topics will focus on understanding the CRE landscape, career pathways, market insights, and professional skills.

One informal building tour and happy hour
- Dedicated time to build authentic peer relationships and connect with guest speakers and industry leaders in a relaxed setting.
- On-site experiences that bring the business to life—seeing projects, offices and operations
COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS
To make the most of the experience, participants are asked to:
- Commit to the full 8-month program (with the ability to miss one meeting).
- Arrive prepared and engaged, including coming with questions for speakers and panelists.
- Actively participate in discussions, networking opportunities
and tours.
Program cost is $250 per participant, and each applicant’s supervisor or company leader must sign off on the commitment,
including support for the program fee and time away from the office for monthly sessions. Program fee is non-refundable. To ensure broad access and representation across the industry, participation is limited to one young professional per company.
